Macro Friday, Skip to my Lou, my darlin'

So, for this week's Macro Friday, I have a photo and a story. Stinkerbaby has a unique way of singing the song, Skip to My Lou. Instead of "fly's in the buttermilk," she sings, "fly on the butterfly." She's big enough to know those aren't the real words, but she persists. When I saw this photo, that is exactly what I said to my self.

Fly on the butterfly, shoo fly, shoo!

Okay, I had to edit this post to add this shot of a Red Admiral. I had completely forgotten about it. I shouldn't be allowed to post before I have any coffee!

Hope you all have a great weekend! I'm planning on a great weekend!

  2. Was that for real? Was that fly ACTUALLY on the butterfly? Unbelievable! You're like the National Geographic bug photographer; you have a knack for capturing unusual moments!

  5. The top photo is like a painting! I'm not sure that it would particularly like a yellow jacket hitching a ride!
