Well, once again it's Friday, and, once again, I'm going to play with the big girls and boys. So here's my entry for Macro Friday. Yes, it's another bug.
I'm beginning to see a pattern here.
If you saw yesterday's post, you'll recognize this little guy. He's the Great Blue Skimmer who adorned our cottage at the lake.
Everyone, feel free to link up by clicking above. If I can manage it, I know you can. And check out blogging from bolivia, too.
It's a very cool blog.
Happy Friday, everyone!

He's too adorable! :-) I love the angle!
ReplyDeleteGreat shot. How did you get him to sit so still? They will never do that for me.
ReplyDeleteHi Susan I checked out your previous post to see more of the photos - he's a big one isn't he. I would love to be able to see one of these in reality. Great shot.

Susan. I love this shot. Well done with composition and focus. I am still trying to capture one of these guys. The colors are amazing.
ReplyDeleteThanks, everyone! I don't have a clue why he held still for me. I was shooting him on the cottage, then he flew and landed on the walkway not ten feet away! I think he looks like some sort of alien spacecraft!
ReplyDeleteOOH that looks like a big one:)
ReplyDeleteNeat shot!
It seriously amazes me that you can capture these guys!!! Great shot!
ReplyDeleteyou get some of the greatest bug shots. I never can get close enough to these guys without them flying off. Nice shot!
